Cheshire Hockey Broadcasts

(Usually 1 hr before puck drop!)

Memory to Video Productions is proud to be broadcasting 8 games for the Cheshire High School hockey team this season. Our broadcast plan will include Play-by-Play at every game we do and in some rare cases when possible include features such as Instant Replay, Multiple Angles, live score-and-clock and occasional graphics. We use our unique, customized studio in Waterbury to provide a lot of the magic that gets on the air. We also have the ability to feature sponsors upon request from running company logos on screen to full video commercials between commercials. (Contact us or the Cheshire Hockey Parents Association for more info on that).

Our goal is to have the original stream run on our Meridix account live and then later have those games available on YouTube. We can’t stream directly to YouTube due to potential copyright violations from the music that plays throughout the games. (See more on this down below). Make sure you hit the SUBSCRIBE button on our YouTube account to get the alerts when CHS videos are published there.

CHESHIRE CHANNEL ON YOUTUBE
(After the games are over, footage will also appear here, usually within 24 hours or so)

We also record the footage from Camera 1 and that raw footage is available for video editing later at the following link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KA1bnrRlpqdyC8D0ZiWny47XT215wfSL?usp=sharing

All footage by MVP TV is available. No need to pay Meridix for your own version so if you want something, just ask Joey at MVP TV.

We also build recruiting highlight reels for players interested in reaching the next level. And you can find our highlight reels at https://memorytovideo.com/highlightreels/

We are always interested in feedback on how we are doing and what we may be able to do even better. Feel free to contact MVP owner Joey Delgado by phone/text at (831) 809-6629 or by email at memorytovideo@gmail.com.

Other Broadcast Info

Due to copyright violations, we are unable to stream safely to platforms like YouTube or Twitch. Those companies use AI services to instantly detect music playing and will flag the account holders regarding the violations. The consequences can be severe, including termination of your account. In other cases, they may block the stream, mute the stream, suspend the account for several weeks or months or maybe do nothing other than send a warning. In some cases, the stream will be unaffected but the videos gradually disappear later as the violations are discovered. In some other cases, the videos were fine for even a couple of years and suddenly the videos from YouTube have vanished.

The platform we use (Meridix) is immune to these issues, which is why use this. Meridix does make the stream available to watch after the stream ends but this process can take hours. They also offer the option to purchase a downloadable file, but again this process takes hours and the broadcast is free to any fan who requests a file. Just ask Joey. Again, you do not need to pay Meridix for anything.

Once the game ends, we export the video to YouTube, which then flags the violations of the songs being played and then we edit out the sound from those moments. This process can take several days but eventually the games can be watched on YouTube with no threat of having our YouTube account suspended.
